Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga Support Berry Family After Tragic Accident

Uncle of orphaned, injured Texas children calls outreach 'amazing.'

On July 3, the Berry family suffered an incredible tragedy. Parents Joshua and Robin Berry were killed in a car crash, while brothers Peter, 9, and Aaron, 8, were paralyzed, possibly for life, and remain hospitalized. Their younger sister, Willa, 6, was also injured, but suffered only broken bones. In the weeks since the crash in Texas, celebrities have been doing their part to help raise money for the care of the three young children.

Using the power of social media, everyone from Justin Bieber and Britney Spears to Lady Gaga and Usher have asked their fans to "Show Your Hearts" with donations at showyourhearts.org and via text message (texting BERRY to 85944 donates $10). Their call to arms has meant the world to Matt Berry, the kids' uncle.

"My wife had this family member in the Justin Bieber camp, and when the accident happened ... they reached out to us and asked how they could help," he told MTV News on Thursday. "So, it's been pretty much organic from their reaching out. Right after the accident, he was asking for their names and praying with his mom for the kids. It's not something we expected would happen, obviously.

"So, my understanding is that he wanted to do something to help, and the best way they could help was to create awareness," he continued. "They have a lot of friends and contacts. And then, of course, once their campaigns started going, it looked like a lot of people joined it because I think everyone had some sort of feeling of empathy."

The family is still mending: Peter and Aaron's "lifelong conditions" have been amplified by the loss of their parents; meanwhile Willa is still trying to come to terms with the incident.

Matt Berry said of all the public support they've received has "definitely helped." "Anything that goes to help the kids in their predicament [helps]. I don't know how long it will continue. I'm not someone who likes to be in the public eye, so it's a little bit awkward, but it's amazing.

"It's a little bit overwhelming," he added, but he said that right now, the family is taking it "day by day" as they deal with the aftermath of such a tremendously tragic turn of events.

"If it was up to us, we'd pray that they were able to stand up in a couple of weeks and walk out of the hospital, but the likelihood of that happening is low," he said, adding that the boys are readying for rehab to try to heal in any small way. "There's been a lot of people supporting us, and that's huge. The ultimate dream is if in their lifetime, there's enough momentum to figure something out and fix spinal-cord injuries. We've got two of them that need something special."

Bruno Mars Says VMA Win Would Be 'Coolest Thing Ever'

'The Lazy Song' clip is up against Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and LMFAO for Best Choreography.
By Jocelyn Vena

Bruno Mars' heartfelt clip for "Grenade" is up for three Moonmen at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards: Video of the Year, Best Male Video and Best Pop Video. He's obviously very excited by these three nods, but it's his fourth that really gets "The Lazy Song" singer going.

He can't wait to see if he can beat out Beyoncé ("Run the World (Girls)"), Britney Spears ("Till the World Ends"), Lady Gaga ("Judas") and LMFAO ("Party Rock Anthem") for Best Choreography for his track about just wanting to stay home and chill out.

"You know what I'm excited for? As much as I put blood, sweat and tears into 'Grenade,' I'm excited for 'The Lazy Song,' Best Choreography," he dished to MTV News. "That is amazing."

In the video, Bruno is captured hanging out at home, dancing around his living room and monkeying around with a few, well, monkeys. "I called up my friends the Poreotics [from 'America's Best Dance Crew'] and we shot this and choreographed this in one day," he recalled of the fun video. "And I think that would be the coolest thing ever if I went home and saw a Moonman that said: Best Choreography, Bruno Mars, 'The Lazy Song.' "

As silly and ironic as it seems for the singer to win the award for that track, he did put a lot of the same "blood, sweat and tears" into it as he did for "Grenade." "We worked really hard on it, and we wanted to give people something to laugh at and show personality in the song and what we're talking about," he said. " 'The Lazy Song' is not necessarily the song you want to hear in the club, but we put our monkey dance to it."

The 28th annual will air live on Sunday, August 28, from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT. See the list of nominees, revisit last year's highlights and vote for your favorites in the general categories by visiting VMA.MTV.com.

'Twilight' Studio Takes Legal Action In 'Breaking Dawn' Photo Leak

Summit Entertainment alleges a group in Argentina is behind leaked images.
By Terri Schwartz

When Robert Pattinson asks, he receives. Summit Entertainment released a press release Monday (August 1) announcing that it has tracked down some of the alleged people responsible for leaked images from the upcoming "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" and has taken legal action.

In the release, the studio said the March leak came from the town of Posadas in northern Argentina, but since there may be more people involved, the investigation is still ongoing. Specifically, Summit is identifying Daiana Santia as allegedly being involved in the group that stole the images and footage. Civil action has been filed in the U.S. and Argentina, while criminal action has also been filed in Argentina. The images released were from Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward's (Pattinson) honeymoon scene and some of the final shots of the flick when Bella transforms into a vampire.

When MTV News caught up with Pattinson shortly after the incident occurred, he was obviously very annoyed by the whole situation. "It's just ridiculous. I literally can't believe that it happened," he said. "I want the 'Twilight' troops to mobilize, all the good fans, and find out who these little sh--s are and just hack into their computers and destroy them. ... I'm being genuinely serious, 'Twilight' fans."

Summit hired law firm Keats McFarland & Wilson LLP to search four continents (North America, South America, Europe and Australia) to find the people behind what director Bill Condon called a "deeply upsetting" experience. Summit Executive Vice President David C. Friedman released a statement in the press release about the situation, saying that a strong fan community should not result in property theft.

"While we very much appreciate the legions of committed fans of the franchise and encourage them to create community online, we cannot ignore that property was stolen," he said. "It is not fair to the majority of fans that want to see the final chapter of the 'Twilight Saga' film franchise fully realized by the filmmaker and dedicated cast and crew to have these images out and available on the Internet."

In the earlier MTV News interview, Pattinson said the people involved in the incident could not even be considered fans. "It's raw footage; it's not even what people are going to see," he said "Why do this maliciously? You're not a fan. You're just a di--."

Check out everything we've got on "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1."

Over Memorial Day weekend, Sean Kingston was seriously injured in a headline-making jet-ski accident. In the months since the crash, the "Beautiful Girls" singer has been recovering in Miami, where he lives and where the accident took place. He's been getting help from pals like "Eenie Meenie" collaborator Justin Bieber, who said the recovering singer is doing much better.

"His spirits are a lot higher," Bieber explained to MTV News in an interview that will air tonight (August 2) on "MTV First: Sean Kingston." "He still has to have people around him to make sure he's doing alright, but his spirits are high, and he's doing well."

Bieber also talked about his recent visit to Kingston's home in Miami. "I was just down in Miami," he said. "We were just hanging out at his house, kicking it, driving around Miami and whatnot. It was a lot of fun. I got to relax and take time off."

During "MTV First: Sean Kingston," the chart-topping artist will talk about his recovery from the near-fatal accident and his plans to get back in the recording studio. The special is set to air tonight (August 2) at 7:57 p.m. ET on MTV, then continue for 30 minutes on MTV.com. Fans can submit questions for Sean through MTV.com or via Twitter (using @MTVNews/ hashtag #AskSean).

Sean will open up to host Sway Calloway about the cause of the Memorial Day accident and go into detail about the various medical procedures he underwent to treat his injuries. The singer will also speak candidly about how the accident helped him to focus on living a healthier lifestyle, and, of course, we'll find out what's up next for the star in his music career.

Ryan O'Neal: Redmond "Never Recovered" from Farrah Fawcett's Death

Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett's son Redmond O'Neal was arrested for heroin possession last week, one year after completing rehab. Redmond, 26, has struggled with drug-related legal problems for years -- but his dad says that the biggest challenge for Redmond now is coping with his mother's death.

On Thursday, Redmond went before a judge to plead not guilty to heroin possession and illegally possessing a firearm. (Police found a loaded gun when they searched his apartment.) The charges, which come on the heels of other drug convictions, could land Redmond in jail. Outside the courtroom, Ryan O'Neal explained that Farrah's death in 2009 had a devastating effect on their son.

"He never recovered from the loss of his mother," the 70-year-old actor told reporters. "That's the part that hurts the most. He doesn't know how to resolve it for himself, so he gets in trouble."

Redmond's half-sister Tatum O'Neal, also a recovering drug addict, attended the court session to support her brother.

"He's an addict," Tatum, 47, told the press. "Addicts keep using until they want to stop. We're praying for him every day."

The judge, who said Redmond's arrest was "part of an ongoing pattern," has ordered him to be held without bail until an August 24 hearing. At that point, it will be decided whether Redmond will go back to rehab -- or back to jail.

Redmond, Farrah Fawcett's only child, was incarcerated at the time of her death from cancer in June 2009.

Ke$ha Is Channeling 'Sexiness' Of '70s Rock For New Album

Glitter-heavy pop star tells MTV News she's going for 'balls-out, irreverent rock and roll.'
By James Montgomery, with reporting by Matt Elias

Ke$ha
Photo: MTV News

Ke$ha's already got the face paint down pat, and, during recent live sets, she's even taken to guzzling blood out of a human heart, so it should come as no surprise that, on her upcoming album, the pop star is taking things back to the most theatrical era of rock: the prop-heavy, arena-spanning heyday of the 1970s.

Ke$h revealed her plans over the weekend in Los Angeles, on the red carpet of KIIS FM's annual Wango Tango concert, where she told MTV News that the follow-up to her breakout Animal album (and, we suppose, Cannibal too) would be heavy on hard riffs and light on pretty much everything else.

"The next album ... I've been working on writing on the road, but as far as a sound, I just know it's gonna be balls-out, irreverent rock and roll," she said. "I've been pretty much in this '70s rock and roll kick and I just want to capture some of the true essence of what rock and roll is, and that's just irreverence and sexiness and fun and not giving a f---, so we'll definitely put a bit of rock and roll in it."

So, does that mean that fans can expect the likes of Alice Cooper or Peter Frampton to show up on her new album? Perhaps. Because while Ke$ha's new album is still a ways off, she's already begun calling in favors, hoping to line up a killer collabo for the new disc.

"I'm trying, trust me," she laughed. "I really would love to connect with one of my idols, I mean, that's my dream. I'm working on it."

What do you think of Ke$ha going rock for her next album? Tell us in the comments!

Robert Plant And Alison Krauss Win Grammy Album Of The Year

Raising Sand, from Led Zeppelin vet and bluegrass superstar, wins five Grammys on Sunday night.
By James Montgomery with MTV News staff

Alison Krauss and Robert Plant accept the award for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards on Sunday

"I'm bewildered," Robert Plant said onstage as he accepted the Grammy Album of the Year award with Alison Krauss on Sunday night. "In the old days we would have called this selling out, but it's a good way to spend a Sunday."

He was probably one of the few who were surprised, because Raising Sand, which won five trophies at Sunday night's show, is in many ways the perfect Grammy album. It features two respected veterans, a critically lauded producer, some sandpaper-and-velvet vocals and a baker's dozen of time-tested standards.

You're probably familiar with Robert Plant from his Led Zeppelin days, and you might be aware of producer T-Bone Burnett's work on the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack (it won the Grammy for Album of the Year in 2002). And if you don't know who Alison Krauss is, she possesses a haunting set of pipes and is one of the meanest fiddle players in the world. Oh, and she's won 21 Grammys, more than any other female artist and the seventh-most in history.

Really, she's the key to Sand's success, and not just because of her voice (or her fiddle playing). She and Plant first met in 2004, at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tribute to legendary bluesman Leadbelly, and the former Zeppelin man was amazed by her knowledge of American Roots music — so much so that they began kicking around the idea of recording an album together. Three years later, Sand was released.

And while Plant possesses the more famous voice, the album's finest moments radiate from Krauss. Whether she's getting bluesy on Little Milton's "Let Your Loss Be Your Lesson" or entwining with Plant's husky voice on songs like "Please Read the Letter" and Roly Salley's winsome "Killing the Blues," she more than carries her end of the bargain.

And perhaps that's also due to producer Burnett, who handpicked the 13 songs the duo cover on Sand. His arrangements are sparse — giving the two voices ample room to breathe — yet dense, warm and crackling at the same time. It's a testament to his work that he's often given just as much billing as Plant and Krauss on the project ... and it's certainly justified.

To date, Sand has sold more than 1 million copies, heaped tons of acclaim and actually earned a Grammy last year — "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)" took home the award for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals.

One expert was surprised not by the album's success, but by the fact that it's actually quite a good album.

"At first, the album seemed like a vanity project. ... Two names, clearly a one-off record, didn't have to be any good, you know?" New York Times music critic Jon Caramanica said. "Led Zeppelin fans would buy it because of Robert Plant, Alison Krauss would get a check. But it actually turned out to be a really thoughtful, really good record. So when you combine all that with the fact that the Grammys love to lionize one of their own, I could really see it taking home some awards."

'Change-Up' Blurs Line Between Ryan Reynolds, Jason Bateman

'Some of them stuck with me,' Reynolds tells MTV News of picking up Bateman's mannerisms on set.
By Kara Warner

In order to properly fulfill their duties as characters who swap bodies in raunchy comedy "The Change-Up," stars Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman spent some quality time learning each other's respective personality traits and mannerisms. Unsurprisingly, when the film wrapped, the real-life friends found that letting go of their newly acquired traits wasn't easy.

"Some of them stuck with me," Reynolds told MTV News, recalling a phrase he had used earlier. "Like when I said 'real long,' that's you," he said, turning to Bateman. "I'm doing you right there."

"This guy will motivate you to work a little bit harder," Bateman said, shifting the discussion toward flat-out praise for Reynolds' acting abilities, including his impression of Bateman himself. "[What] some actors will do when you're doing comedies is that, during the time it takes between when you rehearse a scene and when you shoot it, they light the scene," he explained. "You go in your dressing room, and if you have a good work ethic, you'll write down some extra jokes to say when they shoot the scene. This guy, they just fall right out of his head, quickly and as high-quality as Mr. Vince Vaughn. I don't have those skills," Bateman admitted. "I have to write stuff down. He forces my game up quite a bit, so I did a lot of studying in my trailer."

"What a nice thing to say," Reynolds said to Bateman.

When asked if either actor ever felt awkward watching his friend impersonate the other onscreen, Reynolds admitted that Bateman did such a good job that he felt envious of his friend's role.

"You know what was unsettling is he did it so damn well that I sort of sat there going, 'God, I should have played that part,' " he admitted. " 'I should have done that one. That looks like fun.' "

HGTV, LA and Dining Room Tables

I've been watching a lot of HGTV since coming to LA. My favorite shows are House Hunters and House Hunters International. There's also another show I like to watch called For Rent, but only because it makes me angry.

When it comes to apartments/homes, I think living in New York for the past eleven years has made me bitter because there was this whiny broad on For Rent a few nights ago who was looking at a huge place—A HUGE PLACE—and was like, "There's no place for a dining room table..."

B*TCH, YOU'RE LUCKY TO GET A KITCHEN IN NEW YORK.

I hated her.

Now there's some stupid lady on House Hunters who wants a townhouse with a fireplace that she can turn on with a light switch. IT HAS TO BE A LIGHT SWITCH because she doesn't want to bend down and flip a switch on the floor.

WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE?

Anyway, I know my LA update is WAY overdue (and truth be told I wrote a long one last week but for some reason it didn't save so I lost the whole thing and I was so angry that I just said, "Ah, f*ck it," and closed the computer instead of rewriting) but to give you a quick update, I AM SO HAPPY HERE. I MEAN, I'M REALLY, REALLY HAPPY. And I think living here and watching HGTV—both of these things combined—has made me realize that New York was just beating me down. I mean, the fireplace lady—yes, she's an idiot. But there's nothing wrong with wanting a dining room table. Why did I get so mad at that lady?

Since being here, at least once a day I ask myself why I have lived in New York for so long. (It's like I had Stockholm Syndrome or something.) CALIFORNIA IS AWESOME. It's like the promised land. It's sunny all the time and there are birds and flowers everywhere. I have space out here. I have a sofa on the patio out here. I HAVE A SOFA OUTSIDE. I haven't seen one rat since I've been here. But hummingbirds? THEY ZIP BY MY HEAD EVERY DAY. I am so happy.

I'm supposed to go back to New York in November, but truth be told, I'm not sure I will.

Ali Fedotowsky "Shed Some Tears" Over Postponed Wedding

Ali Fedotowsky "Shed Some Tears" Over Postponed Wedding

Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky is going to have to wait a little while longer to marry Roberto Martinez, as the reality star reveals the couple has postponed their wedding due to her recent injury.

Back in July, Ali underwent surgery to repair the fractured femur that she suffered during a kickboxing class. Still recovering, the TV news correspondent decided to put her nuptials on hold.

"We had a date set, and that date has now passed," Ali, 26, told People.com. "The decision to postpone [the wedding] was very difficult. I definitely shed some tears. But I want to walk down the aisle," she said, "I don't want to limp down the aisle."

Sounds pretty reasonable.

Instead of limping down the aisle on their originally planned wedding day, Ali and Roberto found a way to make the date memorable anyway.

"It was one of the best days we've had, just me and him," Fedotowsky smiled. She says that she and her man are more than confident in their love and don't feel the need to rush a trip to the altar.

"In my mind, Roberto is my husband," she said. "We live together; we do everything together; we plan for the future together; we fight just like a good old married couple. The only thing that's not saying "I'm married" is another ring on my finger and a piece of paper."

James Franco May Be Worried, But 'Apes' Director Isn't

Rupert Wyatt doesn't share Franco's concern that 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' will suffer because of his involvement.
By Eric Ditzian

James Franco is worried. Is the what's-that-dude's-deal backlash going to follow him into the multiplex?

There's the Oscar debacle and the dozen or so degrees he's pursuing and the "Three's Company" performance-art installation and any number of other accomplishments and interests that get on some people's nerves, and Franco is fearful his newest movie, "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," is going to suffer because of it all.

"Critics will be out to kill this movie and blame me for it just because they are out to kill me," he said in a July Playboy interview. "Last year people were pretty nice. This is the year when people are going to have fun going after me."

One person who isn't concerned is "Apes" director Rupert Wyatt. "I think people are going to see this film, hopefully, for the film," the British filmmaker told MTV News at San Diego Comic-Con. "Those that will go see this film for James Franco will still see the film for James Franco. I totally understand where he's coming from. Obviously he took a bit of a knock with the Oscars, but at the end of the day, he's an actor and that's his job."

Likely helping matters, from critical reviews to box-office pop, is that "Apes" is a first-rate piece of popcorn entertainment. And, honestly, we're kind of surprised to say that. But after checking out an early screening, we can say the story is engrossing, the CG apes look amazing, and Andy Serkis, as the lead ape, delivers one heck of an emotional performance. Seriously! The humans, even Franco himself, take a backseat to Serkis' motion-captured performance as Caesar, the super-smart simian who leads his fellow creatures in their San Francisco-trashing uprising.

For his part, Serkis credits his co-star with helping create a believable relationship between Caesar and Franco's kindhearted but misguided scientist. "It was amazing working with him," Serkis told us. "It really is a testament if they can truly believe the person opposite them — who is wearing a performance-capture suit with a head-mounted camera — actually go full-on and have a relationship with them. It's all about believability. All credit to him that he bought into the whole process."

Check out everything we've got on "Rise of the Planet of the Apes."

'Change-Up' Stars Jason Bateman, Ryan Reynolds Ponder Career Swaps

'I would like to be Robert Redford,' Olivia Wilde says at movie's Hollywood premiere.

HOLLYWOOD — The stars stepped out in fine form on Monday night to support Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman's R-rated body-swap comedy, "The Change-Up." Reynolds and Bateman were joined on the red carpet by their lovely lady co-stars Olivia Wilde and Leslie Mann, along with surprise guest, Reynolds' pal Sandra Bullock.

In the spirit of the life-swapping element in the film, MTV News asked the attendees what other actor they'd like to swap careers, if not bodies, with, if given the opportunity.

"I would like to be Robert Redford," Wilde said. "I think being Robert Redford would be really nice. And also directing as well as acting, and doing Westerns as well as all sorts of movies, then living a really good life, starting a film festival. I would take Robert Redford. I wouldn't miss a day of my Robert Redford life."

Mann settled on Oscar winner and Hollywood legend Shirley Maclaine.

"That's a good one, right?" she said, adding that Maclaine's film classics "The Apartment" and "Terms of Endearment" are two of her favorite movies of all time.

"I think Jeremy Renner has got a nice thing going right now," Bateman said of "The Avengers" and "Hurt Locker" actor.

"Joaquin Phoenix is working with Paul Thomas Anderson then Spike Jonze, not too shabby," he added, seemingly torn between the two. "Ryan, top that."

"Wow. You just nailed it, man," Reynolds admitted. "I'd take Quentin Tarantino, that guy makes some fantastic films."

"That's a good one," Bateman said. "Can I change mine?"

Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch the Throne is shaping up to be the most eagerly anticipated album of the year. With that anticipation comes much speculation. Fans, critics and even other rappers themselves are all looking forward to the LP's August 8 release date, trying to predict the impact and outcome of the rap mash-up.

"It should be some big records on there; it's Jay-Z and Kanye West," Jadakiss told MTV News.

Relative rap newcomer Wiz Khalifa also had high hopes, considering the solo legacies Hov and Yeezy have already laid out for themselves. "These are two people who have made great music in the past together, but [also] on their own, so coming together is gonna be an awesome thing," he said. "It can only mean well for hip-hop."

A collaboration of this magnitude yields grand expectations, and while he doesn't doubt their individual greatness, Vibe Editor in Chief Jermaine Hall reminds fans that the Throne are only human. "The expectations are almost unrealistic to match," he said before comparing the duo's artistic plight to that of the late King of Pop. "It seems like Jay and 'Ye could've came up with the second coming of 'Thriller' and people would've been like, 'Yo, that Vincent Price monologue is wack.' It's just impossible to meet those expectations."

Vibe editorial director Datwon Thomas believes that Watch the Throne will meet the hype, mostly because the duo will find inspiration in each other. "One of the things that we've always seen from Jay-Z is the fact that he's always mentioned that he needs inspiration, that he needs a little bit of competition," Thomas said. "Now he's helped groom one of the biggest hip-hop artists of all time and he has him in his own camp."

Elliott Wilson, founder of hip-hop blog Rap Radar, thinks rap needs more collaboration, and in the past few years, too much attention has been paid to soloists. "You know what's lost in hip-hop is the group dynamic," he said before using the Throne's latest single to illustrate his point. "The reason I love 'Otis' a lot is it's so traditional, but yet innovative in a lot of ways. I think the tradition is MC back and forth, pass the mic."

"They got good chemistry already," Styles P said. "That's all it really takes is the good chemistry and the good work ethic and the effort that they've been putting in, but they've been working together for years now, so that shouldn't really be too much of a problem on their own. It's really how the egos blend — that's what I wanna see."

In 2002, Jay-Z dropped Best of Both Worlds with R&B star R. Kelly, but after Kells' personal and legal drama relating to his alleged sex tape with a minor began to surface, Hov backed away from the project. The two reconvened in 2004 on an LP called Unfinished Business, but during that album's subsequent tour, things went awry and the run collapsed. With Kanye and Jay planning a WTT tour, many are wondering how long can they co-exist.

"Are they gonna start fighting over stage lights?" Wilson joked. Thomas doesn't think so; he has faith that if things do get out of hand, there are enough strong personal relationships between the two artists' camps that they will be able to curtail any drama. "If egos start to spark, at the same time, there are enough people to understand that this is a momentous occasion and you can't mess this up," he said.

Jay himself denounced any notion of drama earlier this week when he appeared on New York's Hot 97 and spoke with radio host Angie Martinez, saying the two had a brotherly relationship.

Whatever the case, anticipation for Watch the Throne is at an all-time high. With only days left until it is released on iTunes, fans are clamoring for a listen, wondering just what Jay-Z and Kanye West will bring to the table. Wilson believes that's the way things should be and fans should enjoy the moment. "We love events. That's why the Internet culture is built off of it," he said, "And this lives up to the hype of being an event."

Watch the Throne Week is on! Check in with MTV News every day until Wednesday for exclusive content surrounding the release of Jay-Z and Kanye West's eagerly anticipated LP.

Charlie Sheen's Funeral on 'Two and a Half Men' Premiere?

Charlie Sheen's Funeral on 'Two and a Half Men' Premiere?

It appears that Vatican warlocks with "Adonis blood" are not, in fact, immortal. Rumors have been brewing for some time that that Charlie Sheen's Two and a Half Men alter ego Charlie Harper would be killed off so Ashton Kutcher could take over headlining duties. Now, Deadline is reporting that by the time the show's ninth season premieres on Sept. 19, Sheen's "Uncle Charlie" will indeed have bitten the big one -- and, what's more, viewers will get a front-row seat to his (sure-to-be inappropriately hilarious) funeral.

The episode will reportedly kick of with a memorial service attended by a gaggle of Charlie's ex-girlfriends, and will then segue into the sale of his beachfront property. Among those looking to purchase Chateau Harper will be a distinguished list of real-life celebrities and characters from creator Chuck Lorre's other shows, as well as -- you guessed it! -- the mystery character played by Ashton Kutcher.

Warner Bros. TV and CBS are, of course, trying to keep the plot points under wraps, so they have yet to comment.

It remains to be seen how Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones' father-son duo, Jake and Alan, will stay on in the house, but we've got a pretty safe guess: Kutcher gets the house, and Jake and Alan somehow leech their way into his life -- hopefully with a better end reward for Ashton's character than what Uncle Charlie got.

However it goes down, there's little doubt that millions of viewers will be tuning in to check out the premiere, if for no other reason than sheer curiosity.

And what of the dearly departed Sheenius? Well, don't mourn him just yet. Charlie has signed on to headline a new series title, appropriately, Anger Management. And he's also getting ready for the upcoming Comedy Central Roasts Charlie Sheen special -- which suspiciously airs on the same night as the Two and a Half Men premiere.

So while Sheen's Two and a Half Men alter ego may be dead, Charlie Sheen himself is very much alive.

Keith Urban Accused Of Attacking Paparazzo

A paparazzo by the name of Willem Pieterson has accused Australian country singer Keith Urban of going on the attack. Get the latest here on Urban’s run in last Wednesday in Nashville. Out and about having dinner with his actress wife, Nicole Kidman, in Nashville, Tennessee last Wednesday, Keith Urban allegedly became angry after a photographer, Willem Pieterson, began snapping pictures of the two celebrities as they were leaving a restaurant by the name of Giovanni?s. In a statement issued by Don Aaron of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department to Gossip Cop, Urban (per Pieterson’s filed report) got into his car with Nicole Kidman and then proceeded to pull up to the photographer’s “vehicle in the wrong lane. Pieterson alleges that Urban yelled at him, and banged on his window” before getting out and then banging on Pieterson?s “car with his fist and kicked the rear passenger door.? The Nashville Police did however check out the paparazzi’s car and “observed that it was not damaged.” After reportedly going crazy on Pieterson’s vehicle you would think there would be some visible marks? After looking into the matter though it seems the authorities are now labeling it as an incident that “bears [...]

Ivanka Trump Shows Her Daughter Arabella the NYC Sights!

Ivanka Trump took her daughter Arabella for a stroll in NYC yesterday! The new mom had the help of a professional nurse for the outing with little Arabella, who was born three weeks ago on July 17. The happy family is back in the city after spending the weekend out in New Jersey in the town of Bedminster, where Ivanka actually married her husband, Jared Kushner, back in 2009 on the Trump National Golf Course. Ivanka tweeted that she had a perfect Sunday watching Arabella nap and reading Ken Follett's book Fall of Giants. It seems a love of reading runs in the family, as Arabella's already a fan of the children's publication Black & White by Tana Hoben.

Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor Flaunt Hot Beach and Bikini Bodies in Hawaii For Her 40th!

Ben Stiller was looking great shirtless alongside his bikini-clad wife, Christine Taylor, and their family in Hawaii yesterday. Ben tried his hand at surfing and stand-up paddle-boarding while Christine worked on her tan in the sun. The 45-year-old actor brought his kids and closest friends to the island to celebrate Christine's 40th birthday, which was on Saturday. Last night, it was party time when guest of honor Christine was the center of attention at a luau. Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux held hands and matched in summery white for the bash after touching down in Hawaii on Sunday. Justin's own 40th is coming right up on Aug. 10, so perhaps the duo will make it an extended tropical vacation. Ben certainly went all out for Christine's big milestone and we also got a glimpse at his next professional project. The newly released Tower Heist trailer shows Ben teaming up with Casey Affleck, Matthew Broderick, and Eddie Murphy in an action-comedy robbery movie.

'Twilight' Studio Takes Legal Action In 'Breaking Dawn' Photo Leak

Summit Entertainment alleges a group in Argentina is behind leaked images.

When Robert Pattinson asks, he receives. Summit Entertainment released a press release Monday (August 1) announcing that it has tracked down some of the alleged people responsible for leaked images from the upcoming "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" and has taken legal action.

In the release, the production company said the March leak came from the town of Posadas in northern Argentina, but since there may be more people involved, the investigation is still ongoing.

Justin Bieber Doing NKOTB? Jim Jonsin Reveals Ideas

Producer says he would like to help Biebs channel New Kids on the Block, New Edition and Kelly Rowland.
By Rob Markman

Multi-platinum producer Jim Jonsin has some interesting plans for when he gets in the studio with Justin Bieber. No, he won't be coupling the teen-pop sensation with B.o.B, but rather he will try to capture the vibe of NKOTB.

"For Bieber, I think I want to reach back to New Edition, those days," Jonsin initially said before referencing another 1980s Boston-bred boy band. "I want to try to do something like that — 'Please Don't Go Girl,' New Kids on the Block — because the girls would go crazy. Maybe not that song, but something that feels like that: little bit of soul, R&B, but pop as well."

While the track pre-dates the 17-year-old Bieber by about four years, "Please Don't Go Girl" was the first single from NKOTB's sophomore album, Hangin' Tough, and ultimately put the group on the map. The ballad, which featured Joey McIntyre as the lead vocalist, drew comparisons to New Edition's 1983 single, "Is This the End" — not surprising considering both acts were founded and produced by Maurice Starr.

It isn't all about the '80s however: Jonsin also would like to produce something more modern for JB as well, using Kelly Rowland as a reference. "And then I'd love to put him on something like that 'Motivation' type of track," he said of the hit Rowland single he helped create. "Just a hard beat that he could sing something super slick [on]."

Jonsin admits that, at first, he didn't know what to make of Justin, but thanks to the Biebs' "Never Say Never" film, the hitmaker has a newfound respect for the young star. "When I watched the movie with my 8-year-old daughter, I was floored and inspired at who he was as a person. He's a good kid, he's a philanthropist, he's a good role model," Jonsin said. "I have a newfound respect for the young man, and I'm honored to work with him."

Who would you like to hear Justin Bieber channel on his next album? Share your ideas below!
